Now What?

Hello Readers.

My name is Jay, an Arab living in Dubai.

My life is quite complicated yet fairly simple. I am a mother to 2 beautiful young girls, both below the age of 3. I was in a good marriage that had its normal ups and downs. Through out my 7 years of marriage and 10 years of a love story, things kept taking a darker turn every year. I delayed having kids until we were happier in our marriage and I thought we were and so I had my first child by the 4th year. But little did I know my husband was falling out of love with me slowly. I didn't know that when I told him I was ready for a second child and now I'm going through a divorce as I am writing this and I intend to document every step of the way. Every bone in my body is chattered by what the man I thought was my forever was doing to me and his kids but I know I am strong enough to power through. 

The more I spoke to many divorced moms to help me figure out how to hand this, I realized I am not alone and many other beautiful souls have been broken too. So I'm here today to make a difference and help anyone else who will go through this in the future or even right now. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but even if you think you have an amazing life with your spouse, this may still happen to you. 

I am not here to attempt to insult my ex husband or to point fingers, I'm hear to shed light on everything that can happen in a marriage, in a divorce and with kids. I too played a role in leading us here. and I will admit to all my faults and my wrong doings. This way I can direct some wisdom to women who are struggling in their marriage as to how you may also be driving him away, and not even know it. 

The reason I am documenting this is because, if you are going through a divorce, you need to know you are not alone and I want to help! But at the same time, I don't want to feel alone either. 

I thank god everyday that I am as strong as I am to help me get through this, but some women just aren't that strong so get in touch with me, let me help you and guide you. By letting me help you, you've helped me beyond your imagination. 

On the other hand, if you are divorced and have some wisdom to share please do! I want to hear your story and, with your permission, document it to help other women too!

I want to also help men understand women better and why we are easily misunderstood! God knows how complicated woman are but we are also fairly easy to handle. I swear it!

Something important that I want to share with you all as well, is how I will continue to build my life, get an income and be comfortable while staying home with my kids and raise them as I'd like to. Keep in mind I don't yet make money working from home, which means I will keep trying things, sharing my experiences with you, until I find something that works. I am starting this journey with this blog. Let's see if it eventually secures me an income, I'll keep you posted. 

After my divorce is finalized, I will document everything that happens in regards to the separation, motherhood, my kids, financial stability, opportunities and everything related. 

I have so much to say and I want to share this with you!

P:S- I am also starting a journey of selling handcrafted items such as knitting, crochet, arts and crafts, wood works and possibly pottery. Since Etsy doesn't work in the middle east, I will have a page on this very website in the near future where I could sell my products. Help a mother out!
